The Tunator®: New sound dimensions through an innovative construction.

Gitarrenbox mit Celestion Gold Bulldog

The cabinet construction opted for is a completely different and solid one. In combination with the Tunator®, an entirely new concept of a guitar cab is presented with the O NINE® Resonator Cabinet.

The operating principle: The O NINE® Resonator Cabinet connects the individually insulated speaker solidly to the surrounding cabinet material. In addition, the magnetic driver is fixated by the O NINE® Tunator® and connected solidly to the centers of the cabinet. The result is a unified object that resonates almost uniformly with greatly reduced resonance antinodes within the cabinet. Clarity, warmth and spatial presence of the sound are the unambiguously outstanding features of the O NINE Resonator Cabs. In addition, the Tunator® makes possible a fine-tuning of the vibration properties of the cabinet. This setting can be adjusted manually using the cross brace. A considerable part of the construction of the O NINE® Cabs has been patented by DPMA and is pending as an International Patent.

“For both live and studio recordings, my 1x12 O Nine® Cabinet sounds extremely transparent, warm and expansive—without the cutting or muddying parasitic frequencies with which our guitar players guild so often has to struggle. The impression the cabinet has on me is that of an acoustic magnifying glass that mercilessly reproduces all the weaknesses and strengths of an amp. One can hear that this is definitely not a case of  simply putting a diaphragm in a cabinet but that it is based on extensive audiophile research.” Peer Frenzke, 1st Class Session; Petersbergstudio
