For the time beyond 2000, it can be said: In terms of amplifier technologies and the development of electric guitars, everything has probably been achieved that was achievable. What is incomprehensible is that  nobody appears to have taken much interest in the optimization of cabs up to now. And yet: where does the sound ultimately come from? Whether it’s an independent cabinet or a combo—no matter how you look at it: The sound comes ultimately from the speaker of a cabinet.

Anybody who has been “stuck” to his cabinet while playing live so as to hear himself well will be surprised! With the O NINE® Cabs, it’s an entirely different story! The issue of guitars and amplifiers is attracting a huge amount of attention and fascinates a great many people. Look, feel and, naturally, the acoustics complement one another and create a significance, an importance of their own, which has an apparently fundamental allure.

In contrast, guitar cabinets are initially comparatively boring. They are anything but “sexy.” At the same time they make a substantial contribution to the overall sound. Hence the fundamental idea for the development of the O NINE® Resonator Cabinets was to create an independent sound reproduction device, indeed create it with the same care that is natural for guitars and amplifiers. We did not solve the issue of our dissatisfaction with customary cabinets by endlessly exchanging the speakers. We asked ourselves: How much can a customary speaker actually achieve in a better cabinet?

Thus the test series concerning the volume of the cabinet, the findings in terms of sound about the various materials as well as the high craftsmanship in the handling and processing of the raw materials all merged during the development to create an autonomous product that has been painstakingly designed.
